Day 55 - having the disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream; unreal; fantastic:
Day 54. I wanted to walk only 20 km today so I started late. I ended up walking 40. Just couldn’t stop. Was so fun. Met some amazing people on the road today. Thank you all for stopping to chat. I really feel into this journey more each day the more people stop to say hi. Thanks for all the water. Especially you army lads. Perfect timing. I was so thirsty. Drank that 2 litre one shot. 810pm to 440pm. 8.5 hours on the road. That’s an average of 4.7 km p/h I have 22km to go to the lighthouse at Point Pedro. I’ll go there first but the real north point is the lion flag at Sakkotei Cape. Just 2km more. Would you believe this story! So excited. ☮️❤️🌳 Don’t forget to donate for a tree or two.
